tans, like lightening ran<br \/>\n   From the Rifles of the IRA!<\/p>\n<p>   They burned their way through Munster,<br \/>\n   Then laid Leinster on the rack.<br \/>\n   Through Connaught, and through Ulster<br \/>\n   Marched the men in brown and black.<br \/>\n   They shot down wives and children<br \/>\n   In their own heroic way, but<br \/>\n   The black and tans, like lightening ran<br \/>\n   From the Rifles of the IRA!<\/p>\n<p>   They hanged young Kevin Barry high<br \/>\n   Just a lad of eighteen years<br \/>\n   Cork City&#8217;s flames lit up in the sky<br \/>\n   But our brave lads new no fear<br \/>\n   The Cork brigade with hand-grenades<br \/>\n   In ambush wait and lay, and<br \/>\n   The black and tans, like lightening ran<br \/>\n   From the Rifles of the IRA!<\/p>\n<p>
